Adam emailed me a logo with the registry site on it so I had business cards made to hand out. Just as well because it would have been difficult to go thro the paperwork. I deputized a couple of other guys including Mike-golf with a bunch of cards so I hope they caught some others as well. I'm sure it appeared like I was selling something and we all know how that is when somebody comes calling. Generally the guys were very receptive so I hope some of them actually join in.

General comment was people were looking for a site but weren't aware of this one so I guess we need everyone to spread the word to grow the membership and with that will come knowledge and perspective.

Personally, I met Jim Watson from Blairsville, Georgia (embarrassingly introduced myself twice) but he's someone I would hope joins in. Hands on guy who worked GM dealership and GM production during his career. He's got a corvette shop in his semi-retirement and someone I think you could trust to work on your stuff. He calls it "Performance Concepts" (706)-781-6789. We bench raced all kinds of stuff in the short time we chatted but I hope to run into him again at some point.

I did wear my C4 Registry shirt for my Thursday Presentation, and also have a picture of my C4 in front of the Plant sign....note the C4 Registry sticker on the rear hatch glass.

Glad there was a chance to spread the message; a great place to get information or ask questions.

So, how many people would you say were in attendance this year?

Since this was organized by the ZR1 Registry and Grand Sport Registry, most attendees belonged to that branch of the C4 Nation.  At the Sat night banquet, I counted 10 tables of 8, but I would estimate that about 100 or so in total, some did not stay for the banquet.  The Group was 80% ZR1 owners...as you know only produced from 1990-1995.  Small numbers of others, and the meeting agenda was skewed for ZR1.  It was still great to see so many cars that were so well loved!  The Museum was happy to host the event.  Tough to get an event and location the works well for all the far flung members......but I will go again.

The Gathering is intended for ALL C4 people! It's just that the 40th Registry and the 35th
Registry and the Corvette Pace Car people never support the event. It has primarily turned
into a ZR-1 event even though there are GS people that show up. ZR-1 people are fanatical
about this car because there has never been or since a car like this one.

The event is open to all. We even had some Z06 people show up and a new ZR1.
If you want to see pics, you can access the ZR-1 Net Registry web page and join the forum.
Tuband(ZR Won) has posted over 300 pics on his website.

Glad to see you could join us Roy, enjoyed this past weekend. I stole some pics to show here of what went on at BG. I forgot to mention the great road trip we took with about 20 C4s of all kinds through the back roads of KY to get BBQ. Weren't you leading that trip that got stopped by a tractor on one of those backroads? Pig

I was leading the BBQ road trip. I wouldn't say that we were stopped by that tractor
but we were slowed down a bit to 14 mph. Some guys would pull over but there was
no place to do that. That was a last second deal and it worked out pretty good.
