I am sure Adam has some ideas and wants to string them out.  So I have one myself.  I am 2 days from returning to auto shop class and one of the things I have to deal with from time to time is an instructor who sabotages the cars so we have to figure out what's happened.  2 years ago I found a rattlesnake skin left behind from an unauthorized passenger who probably chewed something rubber while he was moving around.  There's lots of weird things to find in our cars.  Previous owners, previous repairs from reputable and perhaps not reputable mechanics.  Therefore:
