I've just discovered this group and this forum, but I'm also a member of several other Corvette clubs and forums.  For me the C4 is my Corvette of choice.  Over the years I've owned many Corvettes starting in 1963 with a new red convertible for which I traded in my 1961 MGA. The demand for the new C2 was extremely high and I had considerable difficulty finding one at a dealership.  A bunch of C3 cars to which I can claim ownership at one time include a red 1969 convertible, a yellow 1970 coupe, a 1971 war bonnet yellow convertible and a 1979 black coupe.  As for the C4, my favorite Corvette for many reasons, I bought one of the first released--a red 1984.  My second C4 was also red--MY 1988.  In 1990 I bought my first ZR-1. OMG!!  What a car that was!  Since then I have bought two more ZR-1s, and I currently own a beautiful red 1995 ZR-1 which I recently found with only 1850 miles on it.  Since I love driving these cars and I'm not a collector, this car will be driven regularly.  I had to give a very large amount of money for my new nineteen-year-old car, but I'd decided I'd much rather have a "new" C4 ZR-1 rather than a new 2014 Stingray.  Crazy, perhaps, but that's me.  Here's a picture of my '95 ZR-1 in my driveway in Charlotte, NC.

She's a beaut!  Congrats on your purchase!  Looks like she just came off the showroom floor!

Had a '75 and a '76 when I was much younger.  Now at 71 yrs. old, just got a "Old Boy Toy", '91 Red on Red, ZR-1 w/32,000 miles.  Being I live in Northern Michigan I only drive it on nice sunny summer days (when we have them!).  I do need to learn about the do's and don'ts regarding special considerations for the ZR1,  ie; best type of oil, antifreeze, gas (non-ethanol vs gas w/ ethanol, gas additives), etc., etc.  What to be aware of and so on...
Also, I need to locate a good mechanic that knows the ZR well.  I'm getting past working and wrenching on my vehicles.  Rather spend time golfing and fly fishing..!!

I will post some pics and follow the ZR1 posts and thread topics.  Glad to be aboard..!!

Try Doug Rippie Motorsports. I think he has a lot of experience with C4 ZR1's

Here in Pennsylvania there are some more ZR1 owners and even more in the Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia area.

The black one is the ZR1, the orange one is an 85 with the 4+3 transmission. The ZR1 is a 1990, pretty much stock. But as anyone who has driven one can say, stock is VERY good on these cars.
