Well my triple white '93 made it 28 years without a scratch to any of the interior trim. 2 weeks before the car is going to the AACA Southeastern Spring Nationals, I had a bottle of hand sanitizer leak and remove the finish from the trim panel below the radio.
Does anyone know how to refinish to the original factory finish? The coating is slightly soft almost like rubber.
It's just vinyl, is it not? Might try a dye?

Not vinyl. It is the 'Dulso' rubberized coating. I have seen several threads on stripping and painting them, but I need to replicate the OEM finish exactly.
They sell small black vinyl wrap kits for emblems on Amazon for less than 15 clams.
DIY, and just need heat and razor blade....even have the carbon fiber wrap too.
I thought I would post this in case anyone else finds themselves looking for a solution. I found this company that will strip and refinish the c4 interior trim parts with the correct factory finish. They can be found at www.stickynomore.com. I will post again with the results when I get my parts back.
In a previous life, Robbie refinishised a good number of interior pieces on an F355 I had...back when could afford one of these cars. Highly recommend his services.
