We are in the process of forming a new proposed Florida NCRS (National Corvette Restorers Society) Chapter. We have not yet decided on a name for the proposed chapter, but some have suggested the following: Greater Florida NCRS Chapter, Southern Florida NCRS Chapter and the Sunshine State NCRS Chapter. Identifying a name is still an open process at this point.
As allowed in the NCRS guidelines, we will be advertising it in the Driveline as a proposed chapter/charter. The chapter will be open to membership to anyone who wants to join, of course you will have to be a member of the National NCRS.
NCRS President, Mark Tulley, has provided us with the necessary guidelines in order to proceed. The preliminary response by many NCRS members has been positive and for that we are grateful. A preliminary committee will be formed in order to establish and execute the corporate development process. We already have many Corvette Clubs throughout the state of Florida that have collaborated with us. We are excited about the positive possibilities this endeavor presents.
We are also compiling a list of founding members for the new proposed Florida NCRS Chapter to submit to the Region IV Director, John Ballard and the National Board. Would you like to be included? Let me know via email at ednieves4039@gmail.com or send me a PM via facebook. You can also send a text to 305-439-5345.
Please include the following information:
1. Your name and NCRS number
2. Your phone number
3. Your mailing address and your email address
No payment is required at this time. In the future, I anticipate that the yearly dues would be $25.00.
Thanks and look forward to hearing from you.
