Does anyone know if there is a place you can ship your acrylic top to, to have it refurbished?

You could try "County Corvette" in Pennsylvania.
Maybe also reach out to Mid America Motorworks.
I didn't see anything for targa/acrylic top refurbishing from either of those vendors, but I found Corvettetops.com that specializes in it. $450 for what I need, plus shipping.
I'm going to ask them if they can go a shade darker than what I have to help with heat. On longer drives it can become a hot incubator and I don't have a solid top. I may also look into some type of window tinting, but that wouldn't solve the crazing.
Years ago I bought a static cling film from MidAmerica for "The Beast". It was a polka-dot pattern that helped a bit. Didn't blow away either when the windows were open. This is similar to what I had.
Wonder if this might work as an alternative.

Do you know if they will be able to repair the heat marks and such and make it look new?
I would interested to know. Get back with me and I wish the best for you!
God bless,

Sorry, I don't. I'd suggest contacting them to be sure.

This is a great idea. A friend told me about a product like this, but I had forgotten about it. For about 10% of the price, I'm going to try it. I ordered one last night. - Thank you!

Hello Joe, it sounds like it from their website ($450 plus shipping). They also offer fully restored replacements ($700 plus shipping). Their website says you can call for more info at 815-670-0454.

Daniel,
You want to make sure to enter your reply to a quoted message under the box, not in it. Like this:
Melrose T Top is excellent, easy to find on line. Did a great job on my 93 glass top.
I bought a used C5 3 years ago, and it came with a pop-in headliner for those days when the heat and sunlight were too intense. I have never used it, but I have also noticed that they don't seem to be advertised (eBay for instance) for C4s. I sure cannot see why not. And it seems like it should be easy enough to fabricate one especially if there was a stiff enough closed cell foam inner core.
I actually found one from zip Corvette and I know Mid-America also has them and I have one on order. Thanks for reaching out.

I have that on my 79 that has Ttops.....without will bake your head.
It’s been a while since your post. I believe that THOMPSON ASTRO TOPS (800) 239-2659 ask for Jana, rebuilds tops. My ZR-1 came from the factory with one but someone else had to have it. So I purchased a new bronze lightweight for mine it fits great. Their customer service is great, although because of the demand it takes a while to get one.
