I am putting new tires on my new to me 89 convertible with less than 15,000 miles next week due their age. Is there any demand out there for the original Goodyear Eagle ZR tires? I don't want to store them long term and hate to see them go to a landfill.
To the show concious person who trailers their car, possibly. They'll need to be pristine at that. They'll not be safe at speed, and only you will make the decision to discard or try to sell them. Entropy is alive and well.
They would only be of interest to the owner of an NCRS/Bloomington type car that needs a set for judging. I would advertise them as such, and if no-one bites within a month or so, scrap them. I kept the original tires off of my '85 for YEARS before I finally pitched them in the dumpster.....kinda silly.
