Do you wave at other Corvettes as you pass them on the road?

I do....I also wave at country people in their trucks.
Always wave, always have. I’ve noticed as more and more C8’s show up about 50% of them do not wave/return waves. I suspect there are a disproportionate number of 1st time Vette owners (compared to first year of C4, C5, C6, & 7) among them. Would be very curious to see the proportion, if known.
I suspect in their defense many of them simply don’t recognize the earlier versions - especially 4’s.
Have been waving since I got my 1st Corvette(78 Silver Anni) in 1993. Even when Im not in my Vette, I wave as I do to Bikes on the road, have been doing that since my Dad taught me to wave when I got my 1st road bike in 1981.
Well, what to make of this :
Passed a Corvette, waved, no return wave
As I passed a Porche - they waved
🤷♂️
I'd say the Porsche is a daily driver and that there's a MUCH nicer Corvette back in the garage for special occasions...!!! 🤣

Yes, I wave cause it's the right thing to do !....LOL
Love the wave, I think it's a special Corvette family tradition! Save The Wave !😊
Waved to these two but they didn’t wave back 😞
but I’m going to give them another chance - just call me “Mr. Niceguy”
I've only had mine for 3 months and I took it out on Sunday. Passed a C5 coming the other way and he waved. Had I known about it I would have waved back. I will in the future.

That's the point of the article. To make sure new Vette owners keep up the tradition.
Welcome to "the club"!
I’ve waved to at least 6 C8’s and not received one wave back.
im convinced many C8 owners are new to the Corvette community and have no idea what a C4 is and why they’re waving
